Journey through the brainy fable that reinvents the genre of allegorical satire . . .
In Book One of “The Honeygate Chronicles,” only two tribes have survived the Big Scatter—the porky Soose and the horsey Nags. The dominant Soose tribe's governing principles have slowly metamorphosed from abstract thoughts into a physical entity: a gigantic pink brain nestled in a mountain range.
Hennie Honeygate is a smug Soose who champions collectivism and big bureaucracy, while the Nags, led by the Worde Witch Verendrye, treasure individual rights. Philosophic feuds fester until the four Nags raid the sacred monument of Our Brain and aim to rebuild the Guv'ner's cellular circuitry one nerve at a time. And Honeygate bumbles inside right behind them.
As Honeygate pursues them to undo the damage, he suddenly finds himself on a perilous journey through the intricate inner workings of the Guv'ner's Mind, where even his own beliefs will be put to the test.
When he finally reaches the Guv'ner Herself, Honeygate will learn that the fate of his journey rests in entering the realm of the exYou . . .
But only if his nemesis, the Worde Witch, will open this gate!
