Book 1- Miles Bradford and his dad, David, move to a small town in Indiana after the death of Miles's mother. Once he's at Hillcrest, he notices things are different here, and it all starts with a weird feeling he gets from his locker. According to the sassy girl in his English class, Theo Arnold, it's because it's haunted. Miles isn't convinced until an ill-fated trip to the local cemetery. He and his new friend, Felix Collins, decide the only thing they can do is investigate. What they uncover is both a secret that’s been hidden in Hillcrest for years, and a new one about Miles himself.
Book 2- The trio is back in action when Miles discovers a ghost has moved in next door. The new neighbor is a shady guy who drives a truck for a living, but Miles is sure that's not all he does.
