Wars are supposed to begin with gunfire. This one starts with a few details that don't belong together: a medical record that changes overnight, an election result that feels too clean, a stranger who knows something he shouldn't, and a government quietly asking everyone to move along. A Phantom War is spreading through the systems people trust, fought by an enemy without borders, uniforms, or a name the public would believe. That war demands an answer: PHANTOM Cell. Led into the dark by Alec Byrnes, this covert team is sent after threats no ordinary agency can admit are real, knowing the enemy does not need to invade from the outside when it can already reach the heart of the nation from within. The missions move fast, but the people give the series its weight. These are soldiers, scientists, survivors, and damaged friends who still find room for a bad joke when the room is closing in. Every answer costs them something. Every rescue leaves a mark. Loyalty is tested in operating rooms, safe houses, briefing rooms, and places where one wrong decision can turn a teammate into a weapon. The threat keeps changing, and the team must decide how much of themselves they can sacrifice before winning becomes another kind of defeat. For readers who want military science fiction with the nerves of a political thriller, Dominion Protocol offers a long fuse and a hard payoff. The action is cinematic, the dangers feel uncomfortably close, and the mystery widens without losing sight of the people caught inside it. You may open the first book for the secret operations and impossible technology. You will keep reading to learn who survives, who can still be trusted, and what PHANTOM Cell discovers when it finally reaches the hand behind the war.
