Marooned on the moon after Earth's obliteration by a rogue asteroid, befuddled former interstellar legend Commander Gordon Gooch and the screwball residents of Endymion Colony must face isolation, survival…and their own disgusting neuroses. With rescue out of the question, they are left to brave the cold lunar wastes with nothing but their sick senses of humor to clutch as blankies.
As days drag on into cringetastically long weeks, tensions skyrocket, unholy alliances form, and morons literally lose limbs in pompous acts of idiocy. From outrageous scientific shenanigans to arcane moon-shattering secrets, freaky-deaky clone cults to unexpected romances (and the odd sleazy tryst), this darkly comic tale plumbs the schlubby-yet-sweet depths of human nature in the face of global catastrophe.
Will they escape their lunar lockdown or vibe with the moonbound grind? (Or all get themselves killed like dipsh*ts?) This twisted, laugh-out-loud odyssey will ‘fly you to the moon’…and dump you there for the rest of your measly life.
Fans of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the classic animated sitcom Futurama will relish this uproarious, irreverent sci-fi adventure filled with boundless imagination, unchecked lunacy, and a surprising dose of heart.
